ISO 200 F5.6 Focus on Spot . ( Oh bite me !!! lolololol)
OK so i didnt get great detail in the white swans but it is such a nice composition i wanted to upload it anyway. I liked the reflections in the water.
I have been watching this mother swan since May - she had at that time, 4 cygnets, about a month ago i came upon her again, this time there were 3 cygnets mostly full grown with only a few remaining grey feathers. This afternoon here she was with just one of her off-spring, and no more grey feathers on the " baby" now. I wish them well as they sail into 2009
May God Bless and protect them.
Lynn
i realise i could have cropped this to just the mother - but that was not the story.

Well, what do I know? Lol! I was going to suggest cropping just the near swan, then I read your description! Doh!

I think it is perfect the way you cropped it. To me the picture is not only in the image, but in the story you can see in the image. If you cropped only the one swan , it would have been a picture of a swan and that is it. Now you captured a relationship. Something completely different.
    I think you did excellent!
