...and faster...and noisier than me
but you don't scare me one little bit!
I had to admire this little bird's intrepid nonchalance on his perch,
just below the airliners roaring, mere seconds apart, off of
Runway 01 at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport
on this summer evening in 2000.
