the ice is definitely the icing to your shot ; ))! winter is really just around the corner, but the ice still looks strange and outlandish in this shot, for both light and vegetation still radiate warmth and an autumnal atmosphere… beautiful evergreens, too – love the way the icy "cracks" on the lake correspond with the twigs in the foreground! great shot, nancy! greetings, sabine.

Hi Nancy,I thought it was cold here at the moment but at least it is not icy like there.It's a beautiful scene with the tall pine tree's standing guard around the beautiful frozen lake reflexing the clear blue sky.
