Gulumanhan war eine einsame Stelle zwischen Lindong und Daban an der Jitong-Eisenbahn. Ganz freundlich war der Blockwärter, der mich in seiner gut beheizter Bude eingeladen hatte und mich bei jedem angemeldetem Zug rasch zur Fotostelle hinwies...
Gulumanhan was a very remote place between Lindong and Daban, on the Jitong-Railway, Inner Mongolia. These two QJ's are hurrying their freight train, looking forward to escape the hostile surroundings. One of the steamer must have been on a transfer trip, as usually the trains were single-headed on that section.
