Gulls

Gulls follow any fishing boat returning to the mainland from the Channel Islands for a chance to snatch a meal off of the feeding hands of the fishermans. I caught these two winged travel companions while crossing the San Pedro Channel on the Vision of Santa Barbara. I kept them interested long enough to take these pictures by tossing pieces of bread in the air once a while. The quicker ones caught them in the air while the others dove into the wake.
