Genesis

The Third Day

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind,
whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself,
after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

This is a good picture. To put the subject in center is ok, in my opinion, in this situation , create a strong message !

The elegant simplicity of the composition makes a strong image. The patterrn created by the water and land is beautiful.

I agree with Robyn Raggio about the center placement.

This is a very striking image.

  • Leo_nid 04/01/2007 11:16

    Superb
  • Robyn Raggio 04/01/2007 6:49

Stark simplicity at it's finest. Diminishing perspective holds it's own with the finite landscape vista occupying the bottom portion of the image. the center placement of the tree is balanced, but I feel it may increase viewer draw if it were slightly off center. Either left or right of center would work fine with the flowing lines of the bare branched tree, for those lyrical lines can lead the eye to both right and left and into the interior of the image through the soft mistiness of the sky. Beautiful, Csaba!

exceptional shot ! I like it very much. (maybe, IMHO, you should have placed the subject a little closer to an edge...).
the versets from the Bible fit very well to the photo.
