Flipper savers are important...!
sorry for the strange name could think of one so i will explain it. My brother who is the subject in the photo was putting on his flipper savers which keep his flippers from getting lost in the rough surf. The flipper savers themselves are rough on your skin my brothers ankles are often bleeding from the rubbing of the rubber on his skin while he bodyboards...
