El Nevado del Tolima
This is a 17,000 foot active volcano in the Andes of Colombia. Very steep and not easy to climb. On its lower slopes there are lush forests, birds, orchids and other wildlife. It is a source of water for the city of Ibague where I live. Marvellous scenic splendor.
