Death of a town - the end phase #9

During my time documenting this process I had two hearts in my chest: one of sorrow - because of being aware that an old town is vanishing. Due to my former work as an electrical engineer being involved in the question of the planning of secure electricity supply I know very well about the importance of the brown coal power plants. Here my heart had a different beat.

Interessante Bildgestaltung, großer - kleiner Bagger, Abriss. Gut gesehen.
Die Fotos von Pier sind Zeitdokumente, gut.
    Gruß Hermann-Georg

Reading your explanation I understand in deep the meaning of that picture, is nice that you share your emotions with us..quess is the only way to get people closer, I was born in a city North of my country..the years went by I left the North and settled down at the South of it, as an Industrial civil engineer I come back, but now to set up a couple of windmills parks, after the work was finished I returned to the South, years ago I went again to the North..and with sorrow in my soul I could see the slopes filled with this towers,,hundred of them..but I couldn't see the ocean..I did the same equation than you did..and the question arises..waht worth more..do I did a good job?..is the people happier because of this??

    Hugs
    Carlos
