CSX at Sandy Hook
CSX EMD SD-50-3 diesel-electric locomotive No. 8604 and
a companion unit power a high speed westbound freight along
the Potomac River Valley past the town of Sandy Hook, Maryland.
Shortly the train will enter the Maryland Heights tunnel, to emerge on
a trestle high above the Potomac at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. (*)
The moment was captured in early June, 2014 on Fujichrome RHPIII
slide film, through a Nikkor 80-200mm f/4 lens on my Nikon FE2.
