I love you sabine krause. Thanks for the deep look and commentary. The creative process can go in many directions and in this one I did not start with a point of view. It just developed as I continued to develop the image. The result is supposed to reflect a paradox of sorts....reality, hum.....maybe
a shot that "messes" with my usual ways of perception of space, depth, and dimension: to me the couple at first sight seems to be out in the open, enjoying a far view into a "big country". then i look closer, and i'm not so sure anymore. i suddenly see a ceiling, four walls – a closed square room with a ceiling. but that perception doesn't prevail either, changes again, so that i finally i even ask myself whether the two people might not be "real" at all – two-dimensional characters, paintings on a wall! and it's the editing that does it to me, i think – "conscripting" me to a certain "succession of looks" ; ))… like this very much! greetings, sabine.
except for the post coming out of the guys head (:......which I will definately edit out.....didn't see it at all. Isn't it funny how we all see differently.....well that's why I am here.....to get input. Thanks all.....
ah, memories ...
My first car was a '66 Mustang.
I'd probably edit out that gray line above the man's head ...
I really like the textural effect on this B&W image.
