When I have been in whitehorse, in I walked to the fishladders. So I can immagine your photo, I like it.
If you know "Thomas" from Germany, our guide from "Best of Yukon & Alaska" give him my greetings. He always has to meet his groupe in "High Country Inn"

Fish sometimes do think hard, don't they?

Probably trying to think of a good excuse for coming back home so late and having a strong whisky smell on his breath...

…and pondering every step! what a priceless pensive and slightly worried look on the big-nosed one's fishy face – maybe he's a little keyed up and uneasy about the big grizzly's prank that may reach down any second now, grabbing him off his ladder to feed him to his cubs… good luck, little fish! hope you will be spared and make it up the ladder! ; )) greetings, sabine. p.s.: love the turquoise water and tone-on-tone quality of the shot!
