CHRISTMAS TREE

This is one of the southern hemisphere (Bottlebrush) Christmas trees. In New Zealand we have our native Rata and Pohutakawa. This one in our back yard is not a native but still warranted me spending some time on it this afternoon in a lovely 28 degrees. Thats 86 in the old temp.;-))

That's cruel telling us poor Europeans (at least those in the middle and northern parts) about temperatures of 28 degrees and sunny afternoons. ....shame on you ;-)
And anyway, what is a sun?
I like the contrast of the vivid read to the light background. Fine dof.
