Christmas Rose
The Christmas rose is a plant that belongs to the buttercup family with flowers that are blooming very early in the year (january till march) when it’s still winter.
Despite its name, this flower does not belong to the rose family but to the genus Ranunculus.

a splendid sunlit capture of this early bloomer, beautiful .... very common in gardenshere, but my garden only has the helleborus foetidus looking very similar !!!
