Castle ‘Ter Leyen’ at Boekhoute (Belgium)
A fortified farmstead was originally built on this spot, with 1410 as oldest year mentionned.
The water castle itself was constructed around 1580.
In 1933 a complete restoration took place and gave the castle its present look.
With its stark white facades and red roof tiles, it’s a photogenic pearl, especially when it is silhouetted against a blue sky.

Ein wunderbares Wasserschloss, klasse der Bildaufbau und auch die Farben sind sehr schön.Der Himmel gefällt mir auch sehr gut.
