Cane Harvest 2

Cutting the cane they burned last night. The harvester lifts & devours the cane, spitting it out into the "buggy" that runs alongside, clinging like a foal to its mother. When the buggy is full, an empty one takes its place and the cane is then tipped into an empty "cage" waiting on the open area they c all the "pad". The trucks come there to remove the full cages & replace empty ones. More pics to follow. This is an amazing display of precision driving with these huge machines. The harvester turns, spins & maneuvres, while the buggy sticks like glue . It has the appearance of a complicatrd stately dance where the partners change at reguilar intervals.
