Cappadocia (for more information please refer to the first photo in the series. Thank you very much)

Cappadocia is a historical region in central Anatolia, one of the most ancient sites of historical world dating from the late 6th century BC.It has a Persian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine past before conquered by the Ottomans and finally embedded to their territory till today. During the times of the Byzantine empire it was a place of Greek Orthodox pilgrimage, a place for isolation and prayer.
One of the most interesting elements in Cappadocia are the rock formations known as "fairy chimneys" that have been formed as the erosion of a tuft layer sculpted by wind and water runing down on the slopes of the valleys.and creating cracks and ruptures on the hard rock.
