almost too close

Rough waves due to days of hard winds are exciting to watch.
The place "Klubba" in Kristiansund, Norway, is a well known site for such activity.
But there is always a danger connected - some waves will sooner or later emerge, hitting even the dry rocks which seemed safe to stand on.
Many people have drowned here because of that..
Today I let the shutter run for some hundred images, bearing this in mind.
Luckily I kept a good height from the sea level, so this extra big wave did not hit other than the land below me, sending its spray everywhere

    Helt fantastisk, Tom. Det føles som om du står midt i bølgen og blir klissvåt av hundrevis av dråper. jeg har selv opplevd slik vær på Skagerrak ikke langt fra Krisiansand på trygd avstand, allerede det kjentes rart ut. Storartet bilde.
