Is there another Times Square in another world?

So, there I was, in a New York City taxi cab, heading back to my hotel…

Hadn’t been in Times Square for ages, so I asked the driver to make a detour through it before heading downtown.

As we sat at a stop light, I became aware of an increasing loud “whooshing” sound.
As it reached a Cosmic-Hoover-like crescendo, the taxi began to tremble…and levitate…

Next thing I knew, the driver had been sucked out of the window, the taxi had turned into a space-pod,
and Keir-Dullea-like, I was hurtling through a black hole…towards another Times Square…in another galaxy?

Or was it perhaps that flaming filet of yak steak and the three piña coladas?
