Herbstgold

Herbstgold fließt aus der Sonne
Über den stillen Wald.
Wie durch Zauberhände
Werden die Blätter alt.
Ein paar Tage noch leuchten
Sommerwünsche in Grün.
Und wir hören die Gänse
Schreiend nach Süden ziehn.
Herbstgold quillt in die Augen,
Senkt sich wie Stein ins Blut.
Doch aus tiefstem Herzen
Flüstert's: Das Jahr war gut.
