Tried to get to know what it was from the park ranger the one on duty didn't know put me in touch with another having problems contacting, so if anyone can help please.Think its a damselfly but does not look like anything in the books.

Great macro of the Robber Fly......
I do not have my bug book with me so I can't look it up. Den is probably correct as usual. I took a few shots of a similar fly this morning. No where near as good as this. he would move if I got within about 2 meters of him. Well done H. -archie
