On the way to Montana we crossed North Dakota. The Interstate 94 takes course in the vicinity of the South entrance of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. So we went off to enter.
Due to the harsh weather conditions only a small portion of the park was open, but it was nice :-)

April 2011, North Dakota

Der Interstate Highway 94 verläuft in unmittelbarer Nähe des Theodore Roosevelt Nationalparks an der Westgrenze von Nord Dakota. Also rechts raus und rein. Es war nur ein kleiner Teil befahrbar, aber das Erlebnis einer friedlichen Tierwelt hat sich gelohnt.

Ein großartiges Erlebnis muß das sein, ich kann es nachempfinden. Welch ein Unterschied zu dem Treiben unserer menschlichen Zivilisation wird beim Betrachten Deiner Aufnahme erkennbar.

Beautiful wildlife shot into the light - there seems to be only friendly competition between the deer and the cute little ground squirrels.
