Portmeirion ist die Hinterlassenschaft des Architekten Clough Williams-Ellis der mitten in Wales ein mediteranes Dorf gebaut hat. Unbedingt sehenswert wenn man in der Gegend ist. In den 1960ern war Portmeirion auch Kulisse für die Fernsehserie "The Prisoner".

Jepp, kenn ich, waren zweimal da!!! Ein wahrhaft schnuckeliges Plätzchen :-))
Die Fernsehserie kenn ich auch, fand sie aber (im Gegensatz zur Kulisse) recht fad.
