Another good shot. You are incredibly hard to find fault with, Kay.

The real plus points are the mother and child on the balcony, and, the sign to the right of the doors in the centre. prevents the shot from just being another good 'interior'. If that makes any sense !!

@Rob: Actually I tried to avoid the crowd by choosing a long exposure and taking the picture when people where moving :-)
@John: Didn´t see the spooks until You mentioned them. Should´ve titled the pic "The Phantom(s) of the Opera". Actually the Opera Garnier is home of the Phantom...

Brilliant in Farben und Ausschnitt. Unterscheidet sich von einem professionellen Bild nur durch die in Deinem Photo leicht stürzenden Linien. Aber es ist auch so sehr gelungen.

Sehr schöne Aufnahme! Leider gibt es dort noch kaum
Aufführungen, man kann nur noch ein leerstehendes
Gebäude besichtigen, und bewundern. Man muß sich
vorstellen, wie es damals ausgesehen hat, bei jeder
Premiere, als die Zuschauer da hochmaschiert sind,
zwischen einem doppelten Spalier von der republikanischen Garde mit Paradeuniform, und blankem Säbel.
Jetzt hat man etwas modernes an der Bastille gebaut,
ziemlich an der gleichen Stelle, wo die Festung stand,
die nach der Revolution von 1789 abgerissen wurde.

Da kann man eine virtuelle Besichtigung mit drehenden
Bildern vornehmen.
