I think it is a superb moment, (well captured as the own spots the photographer), but am having difficulty distinguishing between the snow and noise, or whatever the other speckles are, and finding it quite hard to look at/ study. Sorry, contra.

Very good capture in a comfortable composition. But, as with many shots containing snow, the metering system has left the image with no discernable white at all, just a grey that is fundamentally troubling enough for me to be unable to support the proposal but on this site it will probably get in. This is one of those images that lifts the viewer into another realm. It is not technically perfect, it is not flawless, nor is it tonally exceptional. But the circumstances captured here are the strength of the image. A painterly rendering caught at the perfect moment. The composition is well seen and the results are beautifully surreal, w/o heavy dependence on post production, which is a refreshing. Pro
