This man was enjoying himself fishing from the end of the breakwater. He was on holiday down here, and came from Sheffield.
After i had taken some unwanted items to the local tip, last Monday evening,i went on to Mountbatten Breakwater,to take some pictures. This breakwater was built around1878 to protect Sutton Harbour and the Cattewater,at the mouth of the river Plym. During WW2 this was a flying boat base, and was barred to the public. In the 1990's,the Plymouth Development Corporation, took over the area, and the breakwater was once again, returned to the people of Plymouth. It gives great views out into Plymouth Sound, and also of Plymouth Hoe and the waterfront.
This series of pictures were taken over about an hour and a half in the evening,at high tide, and it was very windy. But it wasn't raining !!!!!!!!!!
I hope you will enjoy the pictures:-)))

Sorry ....but it would take a Yorkie to stand on the end of a pier at high tide on a very blustery and cold day.......to fish.......
Here they go out on inflatable beds and wonder why they get swept down the Humber and out to sea !!!!!!*O*
An excellent picture Mike ....Love it :)))))
Lol

Now here we can see very good that it was quite windy over there, indeed yes.
Good compo with the diagonal fishing line.
Hope he had a good catch that day.
Good work, Mike.

Wow, he's courageous to fish at high tide (?)...but maybe the hunting is better, isn't it? I don't know.
But I enjoy your newest series and look forward to the next pictures from you!
