This image tells a story.
The girl is leaving to go somewhere, but where ?
Is she leaving home to make a new life for herself ?
OR, is she escaping a new life, and heading back to her old one ?
She looks back over her shoulder, is she already missing what she is leaving ? OR is she scared what she is leaving, is going to catch up to her before she leaves ?
The face that is staring at her....Is it her own inner - self, advising her what to do ? to go, or not to go ?
OR is it someone else, perhaps a spirit of the past, long dead, that wants to communicate with her ?
This image actually brings up more questions, than it gives answers to.
It's one of those images that you can stare at for years, and only try and guess what the real story is about.
Very good photography.
