It doesn´t look very comfortable- do they never use chairs? I like the picture a lot, strong impression, I don´t like the shoes cut as they are.
Have a nice day Sandra

just great :)

Anastasya Ivanova, 11.02.2006 at 14:03h

hmm...nice haircutting ... maybe with two bricks being piled up there as a chair will make customers more comfortable. Feel amazed and fresh to see a part of their lives, a very great work you made.

Sergio Pessolano, 11.02.2006 at 14:12h

Thank you for visiting and commenting.
@Sandra, @Anastasya: in India this is the most common sitting way. They can "sitting" in that position for many and many hours.

Christian Knospe, 11.02.2006 at 14:16h

Gráfica escena, por lo que parece, muy cotidiana por allí
Saluti Sergio

Abdul Khaliq, 11.02.2006 at 14:49h

Great documentary picture, nicely treated in B&W.
Agreed with Sergio: They can do also so many things in that position, This position is also good while eating food, stomach is pressed and always little space left after the meals. This will help you from over eating.

Sarah Burg, 11.02.2006 at 15:17h

fascinating picture - not only the haircut but also his position - I think many of us are no longer capable of doing this because we have sat on chairs from the word go - a shame really - best wishes, sarah
