This beautiful landscape so readily captures the atmosphere of the Scottish landscape at this time of year. Five minutes later and the light, I am sure, would have been very different. I think I will get out of my bed early next weekend and head for Loch Lomond!!
I dont know if its a gradient filter as Vlad suggested or if its a software filter anyhow i think its a bit too much. Where there is water and sky its quite ok but i also see this colour back in the grasses and a part of the foreground close the the waterside, and just there it is too much.
Sorry Contra
Hi David - I have to say I am with Ruud on this one ... and I say the same as I did on a previous Gallery image by you .. the two halves do not sit happily togather as one ... they have vastly different color temp and feelings .. I like the scene and composition but I feel the use of filters (beit software or physical) should be less noticeable and on this it is very different and fails to blend between top and bottom. Please don't feel this is personal just because it is the second Gallery image of yours, in a short time, that I have said this about - it is just an honest and reasonable opinion that you may at least consider and take in the spirit it was intended. Sincere Regards, Paul.
