Die 1650 liess der Solothurner Schultheiss Schwaller die barocke Loretokapelle nördlich der Solothurner Altstadt errichten. Sie liegt auf einer Wiese zwischen dem Kapuzinerkloster und den beiden Frauenklöster Nominis Jesu und Visitation.
