O Gigante Adamastor - Statue - Lisbon
Well this is a picture I took to a statue in Lisbon Downtown that deals with the Giant Adamastor that was the beast who was the personification of all torment and dificulties to cross the "Cabo da Esperança" in South Africa, the the worst problem for the Portuguese to make a safe journey to India.
The Picture reveals both myth and wonder as well as the fear of the uknown. Hope you enjoy it.
