FREUNDLICHER ABSCHIED
Des Waldes Laub ist fast verwelkt, doch stimmt
sein freundlich' Abschiedsbunt mich heiter
Des Flusses Ruhe mich gefangen nimmt
doch zieht er selbst beständig weiter
Die Sonne nun schon tief am Himmel steht
und wärmt mit milder Glut mein Denken
Obwohl sie doch in Kürze untergeht
will sie noch einmal Farbe schenken
Und auch ich selbst muss meines Weges geh'n
durch manchen Ruf hinweg genommen
Doch birgt dies Welken, Fließen, Weiterdreh'n
Verheißung auf ein Wiederkommen

This is nice change from your ocean images which I very much like.
For this image, I'm really attracted to the golds of the trees and the water. The contrast with the shade is very appealing to me.
