I encountered this lively lady....

in front of health and family welfare office in Bhopal last weekend. An officer there introduced this lady to me. She owns nothings but is rich and young at heart.

Indian ministry of health and family welfare has established a scheme that pays those who have the procedure for "loss of earnings". A man receives 1,100 rupees (£15) while a woman pockets 600. Anyone who brings willing patients to the clinic – a so-called "motivator" – pockets 200 rupees.

An excellent portrait and an interesting story. India has always intriqued me. A close friend of ours just left today, Tuesday,24.1.12 to return to her homeland and family in northern India after finishing her Phd.
