Ich erlaube mir mal oberlehrerhaft einzugreifen: Helm und Schwert sind eindeutig römisch. Beim Kettenhemd muss man schon genauer hinschauen - aber auch das ist erkennbar römisch aus gestanzten Scheiben, nicht wie bei den Herren Rittern aus Drahtringen zusammengesetzt.
Was ich mich immer schon gefragt habe: ob nicht zumindest im frühen Mittelalter noch römische Rüstungen "aufgetragen" wurden?

Ähem, Bild ist natürlich super. Aber ich hätte es wohl eher bemerkenswert gefunden, wenn mal eines der Bilder von Jens nicht gut wäre ;-)
