this remote stream section is about 5 miles long and snakes through a deep sided valley overgrown with trees many of which straddle the stream along its route.
this one caught my eye with its moss-covered trunk, i think its been there a long time.
the falls in the background are favourites of mine, but can only be reached safely when it hasn't rained for several days.
today i was lucky to be able to scramble down and wade to my viewpoint.

This could be New Zealand.But it is a fairyland place in England.
Seems it was a kind of wet and slippery expedition getting there.
