Taken in Coteau Du Lac, Quebec, Canada. I was lucky enough to capture this fella, it was so still that I think I could of used a 5 sec exposure time without getting it blurred. At least sometimes it pays to always carry that monster of a lens.

A night heron had never been photographed this beautifully...
It's smart to use slow shutter speed especially with herons because they sometimes like to stay still and you managed to produce this fantastic photo... Well done and greetings...
