Hauptpostamt Leipzig
Das von 1961 bis 1964 errichtete 110 Meter lange Hauptpostamt am Augustusplatz.
Frühere historische Namen für das Haus und dessen Vorgängerbauten waren Hauptpostamt C 1, Postamt Nr. 1 und Oberpostdirektion Leipzig.
Das Gebäude von 1964 steht als ein Bauwerk der Moderne unter Denkmalschutz und seit 2011 leer.

Schönes Foto und traurig dass ohne Nutzung.In meiner Jugend habe ich dort mal als Telegrammbote (mit Motorrad RTL 125) gearbeitet. Da habe ich Leipzig kennen gelernt.
