Ein grosser Weigelien-Strauch.

Die fünf Kelchblätter sind an ihrer Basis zylindrischen Röhre und enden mit fünf Kelchzipfeln.
Die fünf Kronblätter sind miteinander glocken- oder trichterförmig verwachsen und sind nur fast gleich.
Sie schauen je nach Art aus der Blütenröhre ein wenig heraus oder befinden sich oben an ihrem Saum.
