wow, impossible shot...for me the most cryptic and mystic insect group of all...i was very lucky when i saw the first time a styloped Polistes, but this situation is great...really impossible...congratulation...

Thanks for nice comments.. the quality of course is not "the finest".. it is not possible with such lens combination; but this year I haven't been as lucky as last July.
Peter: the wasp survived for several days, these parasites do not kill their host immidiately (there may be some more still developing inside requiring him alive).
