Thank you all for your comment on our national pride and joy!@Wen: we have soooo many colors and shapes in tulips: e.g. deep purple and the parrottulips! It seems there even is one kind mentioned Maja!! :)
@Dennis: Bedankt Dennis, ik wist de naam 'ech nie', maar ik vind veel soorten errug mooi, vooral inderdaad die donkerpaarse! Er schijnt ook een tulp te zijn die Maja heet: ken je die?? Volgens mij is die geel met franje.

mooi he, "Prinses Irene" tulpen! Na 11 jaar in de bloemen is het net als de mickey mouse tulp en de dubbele donkerpaarse tulpen 1 van mijn favorieten :)Leuk!
