No spring without Daffodils !

These well known flowers look beautiful and attractive but they contain poison, mostly in the bulb but also in the leaves.

The bulbs could be confused with onions, thereby leading to incidents of poisoning.
In 2009 children felt hideous ill at a school in Suffolk, England after adding a Daffodil bulb to soup during a cookery class…….!

Latin name : Narcissus
