Why the center composition?
The dog has nice fur.. imortant to me would be an detail. Not carpet, not pillow... but its fur. :)

I have such photographs revealing more detail of the fur. It might not look like a good composition, because it was not my priority; but what I like about this picture is what you stated, she is the center of attention. :)
