One of the rarest Buick`s EVER built is this 1965 Buick Skylark Gran Sport with 401 C.I. 325 Horsepower enigine
2x4 carbs, 4-speed manual transmission and posi-tact rear.
It`s believed that this car is the finest and ONLY concours Gran Sport in existence, it`s for sure the ONLY one in the state of Florida.
In 1965 and 1966 the NHRA B/stock national record holder drove a Gran Sport just like this one to a 12.8 second ET at 108 mph (factory stock) that drag racing record stood for 2 years!!!!!!!!!!..........check out those CRAZY 1960`s era CHEATER SLICK drag racing tires on this car, this is one of the finest American drag racing street/stock cars I have ever photographed and featured in one of the GREATEST private collections in the Southern United States, The Wiseman collection and this wonderful car is FOR SALE right now for $38,000!
*****NEW NEWS THIS CAR HAS BEEN SOLD****
This car was one of the hardest cars I`ve ever photographed, while I had to sneak up on the paintjob to try NOT to get my reflection in it, this car has a $5,000 lacquer job and has the most flawless bodywork I have ever seen in my entire life on a black car!
