This image was taken a few days ago at "De Hollandsche IJssel", a river that runs at the eastside of Rotterdam, which becomes later "De Nieuwe Maas" that becomes "De Nieuwe Waterweg" until it reaches the North Sea,
Cette image est prise au bord du "Hollandsche IJssel, une rivière à l'est de Rotterdam, le nom de la rivière change à "De Nieuwe Maas"et plus tard à "De Nieuwe Waterweg" qui sort à la Mer du Nord.
You got so many compliments - I hope You allow me to tell You that I am a little bit irritated.
There are two contradictory moods in this picture:
- the early morning with it's quietness
- and in German: die Unruhe durch die Kondensstreifen der Flugzeuge und den Kran, der für Arbeit steht.
These two very different moods are irritating but somehow they are very interessting, because by this tension one sticks to the image.
i have this strange feeling that i already commented on this beautiful shot of yours, but maybe that was in the voting center? don't remember what i said, but can only "sing the praise" of all those other commentators: it's a little as though some early-morning fireworks were displayed in the early-morning sky, caused by the many airplanes taking the never-resting people of today to their respective destinations, while the crane in the back is still sleeping off yesterday's exhaustion, and nature is only just waking up… greetings, sabine.
makes me wonder what exciting adventures the nocturnal sky might be experiencing every night, without us ever learing about it ; )) – so much see in this magic early-morning sky, which turns the "everyday horizon" into an enchanted place, where even the most trivial things – a crane – look enchanted and beautiful! pro!
sorry, but I cannot agree to the pro votes. The scenery it self is great, but the work is not near to pro.
I cannot find any point in focus, I see grain, and the crop (the grass in the foreground!) is unacceptable for a so called Pro picture. Your signature in yellow on the left side is like a knife in the eyes and should not be there at all.
sharpness, grain, crop, editing = "contra"
scenery & idea is great but not enough.
