Das Hansahaus geht auf einen Messepalast aus dem Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts zurück. Das Gebäude wurde im 2. Weltkrieg zerstört und Mitte der 90er Jahre durch einen Neubau ersetzt. Der Innenhof und die Stahl-Glas-Kuppel konnten originalgetreu wiederhergestellt werden.
