West Greece Epirus Zagorochoria
One of the many and very old bridges in this mountainous region of Greece, totally hand made from stone to stone, great specimens of fine architectural craft transmitted from father to son for ages....
This is the bridge of Kokoros, built towards the end of 18th century.

This stone bridge is particularly elegant, I doubt even modern materials could produce something more slender and durable. It is particularly high so this river must flood from time to time.all the best

That is one very beautiful bridge and with such a slender looking arch and yet the people show that it is quite a large construction. A work of art buit to last....for a very long time.Excellentt tones and details.
