... zur Turboprop Variante CV-640 hatte die algerische nationale Fluggesellschaft ihre aus Lufthansa Beständen stammende Propliner Flotte gegen Ende der 1960er Jahre. Bei der abgebildeten Maschine handelt es sich um die ehemalige CV-440 D-ACEX, die im Oktober 1968 vom Hersteller ihre Umrüstung zum Turboprop erfuhr. Bei Air Algerie flog 7T-VAY bis zum April 1981 und wurde anschließend nach Kanada verkauft.
