The reflections in the windows on the left are wonderful and pop out because of the lighting.

The bright gold and subtle greens and blues are striking.

I think that the building on the right detracts from the image and would consider cropping it out.

hey, I finally got a real crit! I have been waiting for that for a while now... I do think you are right, I could concentrate just on the "good" part of the photo. I do like the contrast though, between the warm and the cooler colors and just consider it a photo with a flaw. Next series will be better, because I will not neglect to bring along my long lens, the 50-200mm (=100-400). Thought it would be too heavy and regretted it...

Yes, I agree - the building at left would stand on its own as a pleasing image without (imho) the unnecessary distraction of the building at right ...the appealing golden tones, pretty reflections and interesting patterns and textures make for a great urban study ...
