Another shot over my favourite pond. I went to the Park early on Sunday morning to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately I was a few minutes too late, but why not take advantage of the light in any event.
I believe that someone planted those stumps in there to help me make my pictures more interesting :-)) I hope you like it

Thank you Charly Roggow for your kind nomination
Nice shot Deryck......
Reflection in the water are just great...
Soon these trees will have leafs again ,and for sure give more colour to it ,although this winter scenery is pleasing for the eye also.....;-))
Best regards,
F......
This is a beautiful scene in morning light which you have captured masterfully. Especially the clarity and quality of the color of the water are admirable! Love it!!
Ciao,
Barbara
beautiful!! i really like the reflections – that way it seems as though the trees lead a "secret life" underwater ; )… even though this still looks like a cold winter's day, you must be getting ready for spring now!! will be great to see the lake wake up again from "hibernation"… greetings, sabine.
A lovely picture Deryck even if you missed the sunrise! I can imagine your favourite pond with frozen water and frosty trees surrounding it. If it gets that cold, go back and take a winter shot!

Good colours, only i see around the trees some quite clear traces of edits in the sky, ie the sky has been made darker but not behind the trees.
sorry contra
wow, this is a very nice scenery, well photographed and good composition, if you have the chance to go there again, try to make it in HDR, I believe it would come out perfect !
