THE BLOOM OF WINTER
It was cold and rainy yesterday.
Cocooned in blues, the dark clouds cast me away…
So, I got my camera and went out to play…
To embrace whatever I had; for this special day…
Up to the hills I climbed, hoping to see some reflections of the sun
Filling my heart with joy and not letting despair pulling me down..
I made my choice; suddenly felt like a colorful butterfly
Dancing, kissing every flower, trying to reach up, up to the sky…
Then I saw this tiny white bloom on a small lonely tree,
Smiling as if, she was greeting me…
Couldn’t believe my eyes…a bloom at this time of the year ?..
Paused for a long time; taking all the love in and departing fear..
Ran for my camera, I clicked and clicked in ectasy
Certified the miracle which was standing there, right in front of me !…
Floating in pleasure, I honored myself and the bloom of winter
And let the magic refill my heart forever….
